Dekalb County Schools Security Vestibules

The renovation project was to recreate entry vestibules of 10 DCSD elementary schools. The scope included demo of CMU walls, installing new security protocol items of full storefront glass doors at main entry of the building coated with shatterproof security films, then create a reception vestibule with the same storefront system and bulletproof reception windows inside. Scheduling with DCSD administrators, subcontractors and suppliers was key to the project success. Services included preconstruction, scheduling and general contracting.
