Freeman's Mill Park
Owner: Gwinnett County
Architect: The Forsite Group
We completed an ADA access project for the historic Freeman’s Mill House Museum and surrounding park grounds in Lawrenceville. To provide access while respecting the historic structure, we built a 65’ long bridge with weathered steel frames and non-slip metal planks, supported by concrete columns, and internal ramps of weathered wood to match the existing building. Site work included pavers, crushed stone walkways, seating walls, and additional bridges, creating an accessible and welcoming park for the community.
